Long Title |
The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Poisons Act 1964. It will allow General Practitioners to recommend to the Commissioner of Health that particular patients be permitted to use cannabis to relieve specific ailments. Criminal penalties for patients who use cannabis medicinally will be removed. The commercial production of low THC cannabis for hemp will be legalised. |
