Terms of Reference:

That the Standing Committee on Legislation —

(a) inquire into, and report on whether Western Australia should adopt a general Demise of the Crown Statute such as that recommended by the October 1994 report of the Western Australian Law Reform Commission on “Project No. 75 — United Kingdom Statutes in Force in Western Australia”;
(b) should it recommend that a general Demise of the Crown Statute be adopted, the Committee include in a Schedule to its report a Draft Bill for this purpose; and
report to the House on or before 14 May 2015
