Position Title:Waitperson
Level and Salary:$24.49 - $25.21 per hour + 20% casual loading + superannuation

Details:A La Carte Waitperson with Barista skills

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons interested in the position of casual Waitperson with the Catering Services unit of the Parliament of Western Australia. The Parliament is a prestigious organisation and provides excellent facilities for staff.

The successful applicant will be required to work mainly Tuesday to Thursday (no weekends or school holidays) approximately 22 weeks of the year when the Parliament is in session. Day and evening shifts apply in this role.
Waitperson duties include working in a busy a la carte restaurant, room service catering and function service. A la carte experience is essential. Barista skills are desirable.

For this position the successful candidate will need to have strong interpersonal skills, be reliable, well presented and able to demonstrate exemplary customer service. A minimum of five years’ experience in the food and beverage industry is desirable.
