Synopsis:
"Don Taylor talks about his life and experiences with the ALP in W.A. before being elected as an MLA for Cockburn W.A. in 1968. His distinguished political career saw him as Minister and Deputy Premier in the Tonkin government 1971-1974. After retiring from Parliament he was appointed Administrator of Christmas Island during the turbulent period 1986-1990 when the British Phosphate Commission closed down."
