Question
I refer to the Northern Section (Ellenbrook to Muchea) of
NorthLink WA, and I ask:
(a) Since 14 March 2017, have there been any delays to the estimated completion date of the northern section of NorthLink WA;
(b) If yes, what were the reasons for the delays;
(c) If yes, on what date was the Minister advised of the delays; and
(d) What is the current estimated completion date of this section?
Answered on 19 September 2019
(a)-(b) Some delays have occurred due to record wet weather events.
(c) The Minister has been kept informed of risks that could impact upon the expected completion date throughout the course of this project.
(d) NorthLink WA Northern Section is scheduled to be open to traffic by the end of 2019.
