Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Bill 2006

SynopsisThe purpose of the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Bill 2006 is to implement a cooperative scheme involving complementary Commonwealth, State and Territory legislation to ensure that purchasers of particular types of water-use and water-saving products are provided with information to assist and encourage them to select more water-efficient products.

StatusAssented to 12/19/2006
Royal Assent given 20 Dec 2006 as Act No. 74 of 2006. This Act comes into operation on a day fixed by Proclamation (see Assent and Commencement information for Acts)
