Terms of Reference:On 26 November 2009 the Legislative Council referred the Criminal Investigation Amendment Bill 2009 to the Legislation Committee for consideration and report by 25 March 2010.

On 23 March 2010 the Legislation Committee was granted by the Legislative Council an extension of time to report from 25 March 2010 to 17 June 2010.

On 15 June 2010 the Legislation Committee was granted by the Legislative Council an extension of time to report from 17 June 2010 to 21 October 2010.
