About the tour and Taste of Parliament program

Your group will enjoy a guided tour of Parliament House, followed by lunch in the Members’ Dining Room, hosted by one of our knowledgeable Parliamentary Education Presenters.

Tour

The tour commences at 11 am, with lunch concluding at approximately 1 pm. Please assemble at the main entrance at 10.55 am.

Taste

Enjoy a three course lunch from the a la carte menu, with a glass of beer, wine or soft drink, and finish the meal with a tea or coffee. The cost is $50 per person.

Bookings and payment

Bookings will be taken for groups between 12 and 19 people. Payment must be made in full prior to the tour date, and can be made by EFT or BPoint. Please quote the reference number when making payments.

What to wear

The dress code for the Dining Room is business standard, with no offensive or political slogans, denim or sports shoes. Please note that men are required to wear a jacket and/or tie.

What to bring

Only bags smaller than A4 size are permitted at Parliament House, so please leave large bags and backpacks at home. Please note photography is not permitted at Parliament House.

Getting there

Our website contains information on getting to Parliament House. Visitor parking can be accessed via the southern driveway from Harvest Terrace.
