The purpose of this Bill is to amend Section 12 of the Retail Trading Hours Act 1987, so that an order made under section 12 of the Act will effectively be treated, for the purposes of the Retail Trading Hours Act 1987 only, as a regulation and thus subject to the disallowance provision contained in section 42 of the Interpretation Act 1984. |
