On 27 June 2018 the Legislative Council referred the Fair Trading Amendment Bill 2018 to the Uniform Legislation and Statutes Review Committee for consideration and report by 14 August 2018. On the 28 June 2018 the Legislative Council granted an extension of time to report until 18 September 2018. On 12 September 2018 the Legislative Council granted an extension of time to report until 20 November 2018.
