Terms of Reference:That the Committee examine, report and make recommendations on -

1.
the role of relevant government agencies and relevant Ministers of the Crown in:
(a)
approving the treatment and storage of waste at the site;and
(b)
regulating waste treatment at the site, including monitoring and enforcement measures;
2.
the nature and quantities of non-compliant materials stored at the site;
3.
the response of relevant government agencies to the incident on 15 February 2001 and the post-crisis management;
4.
the regulation, storage and disposal of hazardous waste in Western Australia, the extent of past and current operations and alternatives available; and
5.
any other matters deemed relevant by the Committee.
