I refer to water bores in the Derby area, and ask:

(a) is the Department of Water aware of any bores having an increase in salinity over the past three years;
(b) if yes to (a), will the Minister table the details of location and the increase of salinity in the bores, and table any applicable reports; and
(c) if no to (b), why not?

The increase in salinity in the bores from January 2013–December 2015:
• Bore 2/88 – approximately 2400 milligrams per litre;
• Bore 3/88 – approximately 1800 milligrams per litre; and
• Bore 2/89 – approximately 1800 milligrams per litre.
