PORT OF BROOME — PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY
421. Hon KEN BASTON to the minister representing the Minister for Transport:
Could the minister confirm when the pedestrian walkway at Broome port will be reopened to the public?

On behalf of the minister representing the Minister for Transport, I thank the member for some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided by the Department of Transport.
The first 180 metres of the walkway will open in late September 2017. The remainder of the walkway will be incrementally reopened as refurbishment continues and as budget allows.
