I refer to the recent findings of the "Exploring outcomes for young people who have experienced out-of-home care" by the Telethon Kids Institute, which found that most people in care do not complete high school, and I ask:
(a) how many young people in the care of the CEO commenced year 12 in 2018; and
(b) how many young people in the care of the CEO graduated from year 12 in 2018?
Answered on 11 February 2020
(a) 112 students in the care of the CEO were enrolled in Year 12 in 2018.
(b) Of those 112 students, 37 achieved the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE).
