CORONAVIRUS —
MANDATORY VACCINATION POLICY
1030. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to the government's
announcement on 5 November of a plan to have a plan for the opening of the
state from COVID restrictions called WA's safe transition plan
and to the answer to question without notice 934 answered on 10 November
regarding mandatory vaccinations in which it was stated —
Directions are being drafted as a priority
and are being published as they become available.
(1) Given group 1 industries must start terminating
staff who have not had their first immunisation by 1 December, tomorrow,
have all directions and regulations relating to these businesses been drafted
and published?
(2) If yes to
(1), have all affected businesses been notified and provided with clear and
concise instructions on how to proceed?
(3) If no to (1), which directions and regulations are
yet to be finalised and published and when will they be so?
(4) Given group 2
industries must presumably terminate staff who have not had their first
immunisation by 31 December, have all directions and regulations relating to
these businesses been drafted and published?
(5) If no to (4), which directions and regulations are
yet to be finalised and published and when will they be so?
Hon SUE
ELLERY replied:
