Hon Sue Ellery: She has answered the questions. Hon Darren West is —
Several members interjected.
The PRESIDENT: Order! Hon Martin Aldridge asked a question.
Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE: Does that allow me to ask a question without notice of the Minister for Regional Development?
The PRESIDENT: No, it does not. Ask your question.
Hon Sue Ellery: The standing orders have not changed.
Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE: We have not received any notice that the minister was unavailable for question time.
Hon Sue Ellery: She has provided the answers.
Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE: What if I had a question without notice? It is question time.
The PRESIDENT: Hon Martin Aldridge, I suggest that you ask your question, and I understand that there is a response.
Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE: I refer to the review and subsequent cancellation of septic tank effluent disposal—STED—projects in Bindoon, Boyup Brook, Kukerin and Leonora under the state government's infill sewerage program.
      (1) What steps have been taken by Water Corporation to communicate the outcome of the review and subsequent change of plans to affected local governments and property owners?
      (2) Will the results of these reviews be made public?
      (3) Where will funding saved from terminating these planned projects be reappropriated within Water Corporation's capital works budget?
      (4) Has the Water Corporation undertaken reviews of any other regional projects due to be delivered in the next two financial years that are now earmarked not to proceed?
Hon DARREN WEST replied:
I provide this answer on behalf of the Minister for Regional Development. I thank the member for some notice of this question. Due to the level of information required, it is not possible to answer the question in the time available and, therefore, the minister requests that the honourable member places this question on notice.
