ELECTORAL IRREGULARITIES — INVESTIGATION — PILBARA
585. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the minister representing the Minister for Police:
I refer to the referral by Western Australia's Electoral Commissioner of suspected electoral fraud arising from voting irregularity in the Pilbara to the WA Police Force.
(1) On what date was the referral made to the WA Police Force by the Electoral Commissioner?
(2) Is the minister aware of the referral; and, on what date was the minister first made aware of the referral and by whom?
(3) Is the investigation ongoing and have any charges been laid?
(4) Which division of the WA Police Force is investigating or has investigated the complaint?
