(a) yellow tingle:
(i) if yes, please provide them; and
(ii) if no, why not; and
(b) red tingle:
(i) if yes, please provide them; and
(ii) if no, why not?

Answered on 10 April 2019

(a) No.

(i) Not applicable.

(ii) The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) does not have tables or models of litter accumulation specific to yellow tingle for the reason that these species mostly occur in mixed stands with karri, jarrah, red tingle, and less commonly blackbutt.

(b) No.

(i) Not applicable.

(ii) DBCA does have unpublished fire fuel accumulation data for red tingle dominant forest at sites near Walpole, with this data being collected at different times since fire occurrences. This data indicates that litter, shrub and twig components of fuel continue to accumulate for at least 34 years since fire occurrences. Total fuel loadings in tingle dominant forest are comparable with those in karri-tingle mixed forest.
