I refer to the WA Country Health Service's School Entry Health Assessment, which is offered to all children in the year they start school, and I ask:
(a) how many School Entry Health Assessments were conducted in 2022; and
(b) of those assessments referred to in (a), how many resulted in a referral to the following services provided by the WA Country Health Service:
(i) physiotherapy;
(ii) occupational therapy;
(iii) speech pathology;

(v) paediatrician; and
(vi) clinical psychology?

No. of referrals

*Referrals to Clinical Psychology and Paediatrician are managed via an intake process (noted as CDS/Other in the table above) rather than as a direct referral, therefore cannot be separated in this data. Referrals to services such as dietetics, social work, dental and optical services may also be included in “CDS/Other”.
