— COMPETITIVE NEUTRALITY POLICY
751. Hon DIANE EVERS to the minister representing the
Treasurer:
I refer to the Forest Products
Commission.
(1) Has the Treasurer received any complaints in the
past five years regarding the Forest Products Commission breaching the
state's competitive neutrality policy?
(2) If yes to (1), how many?
(3) If yes to (1), has the Treasurer
requested an investigation?
(a) If yes, when will the
investigation be completed; and
(b) will the result of the
investigation and any subsequent reports be made public?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following information has been provided by the
Treasurer.
(1) Yes.
(2) The Treasurer has received one
complaint against the Forest Products Commission in 2018–19.
(3) The Treasurer
has requested an investigation.
(a) The investigation has recently
begun and is planned to be completed by November 2019.
(b) At the
conclusion of the investigation, the Department of Treasury will prepare a report
on its findings and this report will be provided to the complainant with any
commercial-in-confidence information redacted. The competitive neutrality
policy requires that the confidential information of all parties be protected.
