RENEWABLE ENERGY BUYBACK SCHEME
464. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the minister representing the
Minister for Energy:
I refer to the financial years 2016–17,
2017–18, 2018–19, 2019–20 and 2020–21.
(1) For each financial year, how many residential
rooftop solar systems have been installed in Western Australia?
(2) For each
financial year, what is the total amount of energy purchased through the
renewable energy buyback scheme?
Hon
ALANNAH MacTIERNAN replied:
(1)–(2) I
thank the member for the question. The following information has been provided
to me by the Minister for Energy. This
outlines the number of rooftop solar installations and the total amount of
energy purchased through that scheme and is substantially in tabular
form. I seek leave to have the response incorporated into Hansard.
[Leave granted for the following
material to be incorporated.]
(1) The
number of new residential roof-top solar installations completed in Western Australia
is provided in the below table, for each of the requested financial years.
