Question Without Notice No. 394 asked in the Legislative Council on 16 August 2017 by Hon Simon O’Brien
Parliament: 40 Session: 1
MINISTER FOR REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT — CHIEF OF STAFF
394. Hon SIMON O'BRIEN to the Minister for Regional Development:
(1) Who is the minister's chief of staff?
(2) Noting the advertisement on the Seek website calling for applicants for what is, let us face it, one of the more challenging jobs on the planet, what happened to the last one?
(3) How many chiefs of staff does the minister expect to go through in the current term of government?
Hon ALANNAH MacTIERNAN replied:
(1)–(3) I have, in fact, not appointed a chief of staff since I have become minister. Matthew Keogh, who was appointed as a principal policy officer, has been acting in that position. I look forward to going through the many, many applications that we have received.
