I refer to Legislative Council question on notice 773 answered on 11 April 2018, and I ask:
(a) has the Road Safety Commission completed the review of penalties contained within the Road Traffic Code 2000;
(b) if yes to (b), on what date did you receive the review and will the Minister now table the review; and
(c) with respect to regulation 124A and 137A how many infringements have been issued for each offence since their creation in:
(i) October 2017; and
(ii) January 2018 respectively?

The Road Safety Commission and Western Australia Police Force advise:
(b) 22 February 2019. The Minister intends to table the review in due course.
(c)(i) Since gazettal in October 2017, 11 infringements have been issued.
(c)(ii) Since gazettal in January 2018, 68 infringements have been issued.
Statistics are provisional and subject to revision. Figures include infringements issued under sections 124A(1), 137A(2), 137A(3) and 137A(4) of the Road Traffic Code 2000. Figures exclude infringements which have been cancelled or withdrawn.
