Question Directed to the: Leader of the House representing the Attorney General

Question
I refer to the historical practice in Victoria of attaching
criminal convictions to children taken into state care, resulting in historical
care and protection applications being released at times as part of a person’s
criminal history, and I ask:
(a) are historical records of children’s care and protection applications and orders recorded with any criminal conviction records in Western Australia;
(b) if yes to (a), are any care and protection records disclosed in any contexts where a criminal history is sought;
(c) if yes to (b), in which contexts;
(d) if yes to (a), which agency holds these records;
(e) if yes to (a), does the Government intend to take any action to address this issue; and
(f) if yes to (e), please advise what action will be taken and when?
