COLLIE INDUSTRY ATTRACTION AND DEVELOPMENT FUND

104. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the Minister for Regional Development:

I refer to the answer to question without notice 41, given on 13 February 2020, on the $60 million Collie industry attraction and development fund.

(1) Are any current or existing employees of the Collie delivery unit and the coal advisory team listed in tabled paper 3605, which was attached to the answer?

(2) If yes to (1), for each of the unit and the team, how many employees, where are their offices and to whom do they report?

(3) If no to (1), for each of the unit and the team, when are they expected to be employed, where will their offices be and to whom will they report?

(4) Please list all persons working for each of the Collie delivery unit and the coal advisory team.

The coal advisory team currently consists of Steve Edwell, of Steve Edwell Consulting, and Neil Hamilton, of Sternship Advisers. Mr Edwell and Mr Hamilton are contracted to the Department of the Premier and Cabinet and report to the Premier and ministers through DPC. Mr Edwell and Mr Hamilton are located in Perth. No public servants are directly employed as part of the coal advisory team; however, administrative support is provided to the team through the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
