I refer to the Legislative Council
Standing Committee on Procedure and Privileges' fifty-fifth report
titled ''A Refusal to Comply with a Summons to Produce Documents''
tabled on 14 August 2019.
(1) Did the
director general of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Mr Darren
Foster, discuss the Corruption and Crime Commission notice to produce or the
Standing Committee on Procedure and Privileges' correspondence with the
Premier?
(2) If yes to
(1), on what date or dates did the director general, Mr Darren Foster, discuss
these matters with the Premier and what was the Premier's advice or
instructions?
(3) Did the Premier discuss the
matter with the Attorney General?
(4) If yes to (3), on what date or
dates did the Premier discuss the matter with the Attorney General?
(5) Did Ms Emily Roper, acting director general of the
Department of the Premier and Cabinet, advise the Premier that she has been summoned by the Legislative
Council Standing Committee on Procedure and Privileges?
(6) If yes to (5), did Ms Roper
advise the Premier that she would not be complying with the summons?

range of matters.
