DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING — PERMANENT STAFF — PLACEMENT
738. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the Minister for Education and Training:
I refer to the number of permanent staff in the Department of Education requiring placement.
(1) How many permanent staff required placement as at 30 June 2013, 30 June 2014, 30 June 2015 and 30 June 2016?
(2) For each of the dates referred to in (1), will the minister provide a breakdown across all staffing categories, including teachers and school support staff, administration and staff from central and regional offices?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.
(1) Permanent staff who required placement, by headcount, was 926 at 30 June 2013, 853 at 30 June 2014, 699 at 30 June 2015, and 451 at 30 June 2016.
