STANDING COMMITTEE ON
PROCEDURE AND PRIVILEGES — FIFTY-FIFTH REPORT —DEPARTMENT OF
THE PREMIER AND CABINET
593. Hon PETER COLLIER to
the Leader of the House representing the Premier:
I ask this question on behalf of Hon
Simon O'Brien, who is away on urgent parliamentary business.
I refer to the Corruption and Crime
Commission notices to produce dated 12 April 2019 and 11 June 2019 and served
on the director general of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
(1) On what date
did the then director general of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet
advise the Premier that the director general had received a CCC notice to
produce the email and other records of former members and their staff?
(2) If the
director general did not communicate directly with the Premier, how and when
was the existence of the CCC notice first brought to the Premier's
attention?
Hon SUE
ELLERY replied:
I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(2) I refer the member
to the answer to Legislative Council question without notice 843.
