TOURISM — AIRPORT SERVICES
33. Hon ROBIN SCOTT to the minister representing the Minister for Tourism:
(1) Does the minister agree that Western Australia deserves more tourists than we are presently receiving?
(2) Does the minister agree that high airfares within Western Australia are a deterrent to tourism?
(3) Does the minister agree that we need to attract more international flights?
(4) Does the minister agree that a state that is larger than most countries deserves multiple international airports additional to Perth, Port Hedland and Broome?
(5) Will the minister work with the federal government to have Kalgoorlie–Boulder and Karratha declared international airports?

I thank the member for some notice of the question. The Minister for Tourism has just advised and apologised that he cannot provide the answer in time for today but he will provide it tomorrow.
