Question

I refer to correspondence from the Nyikina Mangala people to Ms Victoria Tauli-Corpuz, United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, asking for United Nations Intervention in respect of the illegal land clearing and ground disturbance with heavy machinery on Yakka Munga Station, to which the Premier has been copied into, and I ask:
(a) is the Premier aware of correspondence from the Nyikina Mangala people to Ms Victoria Tauli-Corpuz, United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples;
(b) if yes to (a), what action will the Premier take to communicate with the United Nations Special Rapporteur;
(c) if yes to (a), what action will the Premier take to put in place measures to resolve the issues outlined in the correspondence;
(d) if yes to (a), what action will the Premier take to instruct the relevant departments to initiate prosecution for the breaches; and
(e) if no to (a), why not?

(e) No correspondence has been recieved outlining the abovementioned correspondence between the Nyikina Mangala and the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the rights of Indigenous Peoples.
