Question
I refer to the National Disability Strategy 2010-2020 (NDS), and I ask:
(a) how many FTE in the Disability
Services Commission, have responsibility for the NDS;
(b) is there a dedicated work unit in the commission, which has carriage of
the NDS; and
(c) if no to (b), where are the staff from (a) located?
Answered on 9 May 2018
(a) The number of staff undertaking NDS related activity varies at any given time and comprises just one aspect of their total workload. On this basis, it is not possible to provide definitive FTE numbers.
(b) Yes. The Policy and Planning Unit within the Disability Services Division of the Department of Communities has carriage of the NDS.
(c) Not applicable
