POLICE —
COMPUTER-AIDED DISPATCH JOBS
938. Hon CHARLES SMITH to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
I refer to the 2017 Western Australian
Police Union resourcing, safety, and workload survey.
(1) How many
computer-aided dispatch jobs were written off in the last 30 days without
police physically attending the scene?
(2) How many jobs
received at police communications in the last 30 days were recorded at the time
of the complaint as having no car to attend?
Hon
STEPHEN DAWSON replied:
I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following information has been provided to me
by the Minister for Police.
(1)–(2) Not
applicable. The Western Australian Police Union survey, titled ''Resourcing,
Safety, Workload'', received 1 086 responses when it closed at 4.00 pm
on 16 January 2017. The survey was conducted during the final days of the
previous Liberal–National government, when the member for Scarborough
was the Minister for Police. The questions have no bearing to the survey.
