I
refer to the Office of the Inspector of Custodial Services report Prisoner
Access to Secure Mental Health Treatment, Recommendation 2 regarding the
diversion of non-serious offenders on hospital orders to authorised hospitals
other than the Frankland Centre, and I ask:
(a) following
the release of the report have any prisoners been diverted to other authorised
hospitals;
(b) if
yes to (a):
(i) how many prisoners have been diverted;
(ii) in
which prisons have they been accommodated; and
(iii) to
which hospitals have they been diverted; and
(c) if
no to (a), why not?

(a-c) The State Forensic Mental Health Services acute inpatient facility at Graylands Hospital (Frankland Centre) is the only authorised facility able to accept forensic mental health patients under the Mental Health Act 2014.
