517. Hon ALISON XAMON to the Leader of the House representing the
Minister for Community Services:
(1) Has any
additional funding been allocated in the 2019–20 budget to expand the
Household Network service run by the Perth Inner City Youth Service for trans
and gender diverse young people?
(2) If yes to (1), how much funding
has been allocated?
(3) If no to (1), why not?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) No.
(2) Not applicable.
(3) The
Department of Communities is currently consulting and developing a whole-of-government
10-year strategy on homelessness, which is
due to be launched in the second half of 2019. The strategy is currently being
developed in partnership between government and the community sector through
the Supporting Communities Forum's homelessness strategy working group.
Future homelessness funding will be informed by the strategy.
