Parliament: 40 Session: 1

Answered on 25 September 2019

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION APPLICATION — HON MIA DAVIES

1091. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the Minister for Education and Training:

I refer to the sixth report of the Auditor General, tabled in the Legislative Council on 18 September 2019, which found that the minister's response to my question without notice 456 was ''not reasonable and not appropriate''.

(1) Does the minister accept that her action in refusing Parliament access to the information it sought was ''not reasonable and not appropriate''?

(2) Will the minister now table documents 13A and 17A without redaction?

(3) Will the minister now table all the documents sought in Legislative Council question without notice 456 in unredacted form?

(4) If no to (2) or (3), when will the minister lodge with the Auditor General a further section 82 notice under the Financial Management Act 2006?

Hon SUE ELLERY replied:

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.

(1) No.

(2) I table the attached documents.

[See paper 3147.]

(3) These documents were provided in Parliament on 18 October 2018.

(4) Not applicable.
