Parliamentary Questions

Question Without Notice No. 659 asked in the Legislative Council on 10 October 2017 by Hon Peter Collier

Parliament: 40 Session: 1

NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE SCHEME — COMMONWEALTH COMMUNICATION
      659. Hon PETER COLLIER to the Leader of the House representing the Premier:
I probably know the answer to this but, anyway, I refer the Premier to the National Disability Insurance Scheme. On what dates has the Department of the Premier and Cabinet communicated with the commonwealth government via email or letter on the NDIS?
Hon SUE ELLERY replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. Following the March 2017 state election, the Department of the Premier and Cabinet has had ongoing and frequent communication with the commonwealth government via letter and email about the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Provision of the information sought by the member would require a significant amount of research and would divert departmental staff away from their normal duties. If the member has a specific inquiry, the department will endeavour to provide a reply.
