(1) Does Western Australia Police keep records detailing the number of successful firearm licence applications in any given year?

(2) If yes to (1), how many firearm licences were granted in Western Australia in 2016?
(3) If no to (1), why not, and what, if anything, is being done to address this lack of record keeping?
(4) If yes to (1), are those numbers able to be broken down by the age or age group of the successful applicants?
(5) If yes to (4), what are those breakdowns for 2016, and how do they compare with the equivalent figures for the previous five years?
