HEALTH — POSTHUMOUS COLLECTION OF GAMETES — REVIEW
28. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to the independent review of the Human Reproductive Technology Act 1991 and the Surrogacy Act 2008, conducted by Associate Professor Sonia Allan.
(1) What was the process for appointing the reviewer?
(2) What are the remuneration and entitlements of the reviewer?
(3) What is the length of engagement of the reviewer?
(4) Are key performance indicators in place for the reviewer?
(5) If yes to (4), what are they?
(6) Will the reviewer have access to the first annual report on the notifications of posthumous collection of gametes in Western Australia from 2014–2016, which was provided to the minister in December 2016, and noted by the minister in January 2017?
(7) Will the submissions to the review be publicly available?
