BROOME–CAPE LEVEQUE ROAD — UPGRADE
327. Hon KEN BASTON to the minister representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the answer provided yesterday to question without notice 306 about the water drilling required for the Broome–Cape Leveque Road upgrade project.
(1) How many water drilling service providers were selected to tender in this process?
(2) How many of those providers submitted a tender?
(3) What is the value of the current water drilling contract for this project?
Hon STEPHEN DAWSON replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.
(1) Three providers were selected.
(2) Two providers submitted a tender.
(3) The value is $363 071.50.
