Question
I refer to the planned closure of the Moora Residential College and Geraldton Camp School, and I ask with respect to each facility:
(a) please identify the number of staff employed, their employment status, position, pay level and years of continuing service within the public service; and
(b) what is the expected cost of severance to these staff following the closure of each facility?

b) A cost is unable to be determined as the Department of Education has not formalised the offers of severance to employees as a result of closure of the sites. Staff are entitled to be offered redeployment elsewhere in the Department of Education.
