Answered on 11 August 2020
1.
The Department Training Workforce Development has replaced Building Condition Assessments with a comprehensive risk mitigation assessment termed Campus Score Card. The Campus Score Card Assessments are prioritised on a risk based approach that includes the age of the infrastructure and data related to breakdown and repairs.
2.
Campus Score Card outcomes and high priority maintenance issues identified by TAFEs are listed in the attached program of remedial works that will be funded and implemented over the next four years.
The McGowan Government has recently announced a $167.3 million capital works program across Western Australian TAFE colleges as part of the COVID Recovery Plan. This is the largest TAFE capital works program in Western Australia history.
