DARREN FOSTER — END OF TERM-OF-GOVERNMENT CONTRACT PAYMENT
913. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the Leader of the House representing the Premier:
(1) Did Mr Darren Foster, the present director general of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, receive an end of term-of-government contract payment during, or following, the term of the Gallop and Carpenter governments?
(2) If so, when was the payout made, and what was the amount of the payout?
Hon SUE ELLERY replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.
(1) Yes.
(2) Mr Foster ceased employment on 23 September 2008. The end of term-of-government contract payment was paid on 16 October 2008 amounting to $102 400.87 gross.
