Question
I
refer to the unfair dismissal case brought by a former electorate officer of
the member for Kwinana in Public Service Appeal Board matter 31/2020, and I
ask:
(a) on
what dates has the Minister discussed the case with the Member for
Kwinana;
(b) On
what dates has the Minister been briefed about this case by:
(i) a
member of his staff;
(ii) a person from the Department; and
(iii) a person from the Commission or Board;
(c) has the Minister ever received advice or a
briefing or similar regarding the Board’s reasons for decision delivered on 20
December 2021 dismissing the interlocutory application;
(d) will the Minister table all documents and
communications he has given or received about this case; and
(e) if no to (d), will the Minister undertake to give
a notice to the Auditor General in accordance with section 82 of the Financial
Management Act 2006?

The Minister for Industrial Relations is not involved in the management of industrial relations relating to electorate office staff.
(a) The Minister has never discussed the case with the Member for Kwinana.
(b)-(c) The Minister has never received a briefing, advice or similar about this case or the Board’s decision.
(d) The Minister does not have any documents.
(e) Not Applicable.
