Question

(1) Is it a fact that the Fremantle Tide Gauge has been operating since 1897?
(2) Is it a fact that from 1897 to 1947 the mean sea level as measured by the Fremantle Tide Gauge increased from 6,569 millimetres to 6,744 millimetres, an increase of 175 millimetres in the first 59 years of operation of the Fremantle Tide Gauge?
(3) Does the Minister agree that for the first 59 years of the operation of the Fremantle Tide Gauge, the average annual increase in mean sea level was approximately 3 millimetres?
(4) Is it a fact that from 1956 to 2016 the mean sea level as measured by the Fremantle Tide Gauge increased from 6,744 millimetres to 6,788 millimetres, an increase of 44 millimetres in the most recent 60 years of operation of the Fremantle Tide Gauge?
(5) Does the Minister agree that for the most recent 60 years of the operation of the Fremantle Tide Gauge, the average annual increase in mean sea level was less than 1 millimetre?
(6) Does the Minister agree that in 119 years of operation of the Fremantle Tide Gauge, the total sea level rise from 6,569mm in 1897 to 6,788mm in 2016 is an increase of 219mm, less than 2 millimetres per year?
(7) Does the Minister agree that there is nothing in the records of the Fremantle Tide Gauge to suggest that the sea level rise has been greater or more rapid in the past six decades than in the previous six decades?
(8) Does the Minister agree that the records of the Fremantle Tide Gauge suggest that during past six decades the sea has risen less than in the previous six decades?
