MOTHER BABY UNITS
532. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to mother baby units that
provide specialist perinatal support and treatment services.
(1) In the 2019–20,
2020–21 and 2021–22 financial years, what was the total amount
of funding provided by the Department of Health to deliver this service at the
following hospitals —
(a) King Edward Memorial Hospital for
Women; and
(b) Fiona Stanley Hospital?
(2) For each
hospital referenced in (1), what is the total amount of funding that has been
allocated to deliver this service in the 2022–23 financial year?
Hon SUE
ELLERY replied:
I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) The Mental
Health Commission funding for the mother baby units is in tabular form. I seek
