I refer to youth detention
facilities in Western Australia.
(1) In the last
12 months, have any state government ministers visited Banksia Hill Detention
Centre; and, if so, which ministers and on what dates did those visits occur?
(2) Since 20 July
2022, have any state government ministers visited unit 18; and, if so, which
ministers and on what dates did those visits occur?

Minister for Corrective Services.
(1) Yes. Hon Bill
Johnston, MLA, Minister for Corrective Services and Hon Simone McGurk, MLA,
Minister for Child Protection visited Banksia Hill Detention Centre on 22 February
2022.
(2) Yes. Hon Bill Johnston, MLA,
Minister for Corrective Services visited unit 18 on 8 September 2022.
