HOUSING AUTHORITY — BIKIE CLUB
284. Hon PETER COLLIER to the minister representing the Minister for Housing:
I refer to the article in The Weekend West of 17–18 June entitled, ''Homeswest Bikie Club''.
(1) When was the lease signed with the current tenant referred to in the article?
(2) What due diligence was undertaken by the Department of Housing prior to signing the rental lease?
(3) On how many occasions did staff from the department inspect the property from the date of signing the lease?
(4) Have there been complaints from neighbours about the behaviour or otherwise of the occupant or visitors to the property; and, if so, how many?
(5) Has the property fallen within the category of illegal use of a public housing property?
(6) If yes to (5), what instruction has the minister given to the department to terminate the tenancy?
