I refer to healthcare-associated
infections.
How many cases of
healthcare-associated infections have been recorded across Western Australian
hospitals for the three completed quarters of 2021?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following information has been provided to me
by the Minister for Health.
For the reporting period 1 January
2021 to 30 September 2021, 385 healthcare-associated infections were reported
by the Healthcare Infection Surveillance of Western Australia program.
