367. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the Leader of the House representing the Minister for Child Protection:
I refer to the termination of Emma White as director general of the Department for Child Protection and Family Support.
(1) On what date did Ms White's tenure terminate?
(2) On what date was the minister informed of Ms White's termination?
(3) What reasons were provided to the minister for the termination?
(4) Further to (3), who provided those reasons to the minister and on what date were those reasons provided to the minister?
(5) On what dates did the minister meet in person with Ms White between 17 March 2017 and 29 June 2017?
(6) What was the total of Ms White's termination payment?
(7) Further to (6), what is the breakdown of that termination payment?

(1) Ms White resigned effective 3 July 2017.
(2)–(4) The Public Sector Commission is best placed to provide answers to these questions as the Public Sector Commissioner is the employer.
(5) It was on 20 March 2017, 28 March 2017, 4 April 2017, 13 April 2017, 18 April 2017, 24 April 2017, 1 May 2017, 8 May 2017, 15 May 2017, 29 May 2017, 12 June 2017, and 26 June 2017.

Hon Nick Goiran: I asked on what date the minister was informed in question (2). Do I have to ask the Public Sector Commission something it could not possibly know—only the minister could know?
