572. Hon COLIN TINCKNELL to the minister representing the Minister for Tourism:
What action has the government taken, or is the government taking, to secure the future of the Margaret River Pro beyond 2019?
Hon ALANNAH MacTIERNAN replied:
I thank the member for the question. The Minister for Tourism has provided the following information.
Tourism Western Australia is in active negotiations with both Surfing Western Australia and the World Surf League with a view to securing the future of this event.
